Romeo Update

I am happy to report that it turns out Romeo had a stick wedged between his back molars and across the roof of his mouth! Ouch! No wonder he wasn't eating. He is feeling much better now! YAY

Our Poor Puppy

Please be praying for our little Romeo. We think he has an infected tooth and we have to take him into the vet hopefully tomorrow. He cannot chew his food so we are feeding him Cali’s food or he is swallowing his own food whole. He is not acting like his normal self and we are very worries about our boy. I will give an update as soon as we know what is going on.

And Now There Are Two

I just wanted to give you an update. Matthew and I have decided to keep Cali! We are very excited about the new addition to our family. Romeo and Cali are already great friends and have quickly become partners in crime as we have found out from the complete bag of treats they got off the counter when we went to town the other day.

Happy Thursday!

Happy Thursday! I hope you all are having a wonderful week! These last few weeks have been very busy here at the Ditson home. Matthew had his first test in his IQT (Initial Qualification Training) class last Thursday and says overall he feels good but he knows he still has a lot to learn. He also had his first training ride. This simulates what it is going to like inside the missle silo at Malmstrom AFB. We are very excited that Matthew’s partner in these training rides is our good friend Brian Marlo. Brian and his wife Dana live right down the street from us and are also going to Montana! I am so excited that I am going to be able to have the car sometimes and they get to carpool!

Here at the house we have become a foster family to the most adorable little Beagle. Her name is Cali and our friends who originally had her couldn’t keep her in the house they are renting. Cali and Rome love to play chase and tug-a-war and she has made herself at home very quickly, but she still seems a little small for Romeo to play the way he wants to. Matthew and I are really struggling with the decision to keep her or not.

I have finally found a job! I am going to work from home doing Xocai Healthy Chocolate! I am so excited about the opportunities and options this business opens up for us! I am having my first Chocolate Tasting and my Business Launch April 9! This is right after I get home from visiting CO for a bridal shower for my dear friend Danae!

Last but not least, this weekend we are headed to San Diego! YAY! We are hoping to take in the zoo and Sea World and many other fun stops along the way! Pictures and updates to come!

I just realized that is nine exclaimation marks in a row... I am REALLY EXCITED!

Painting, A new job, and a new addition

Kathryn and I are really getting settled in to our home and making it our own. We're painting some walls right now to give our house a little more of a homey feel. Pictures will be coming soon!

I had a bit of a scare last week when I was told that I was not medically qualified to be a Space & Missiles operator. It was news to me! Apparently, I should have never been sent to Vandenberg because my medical waiver had disqualified me in March. But, the personnel office and the med group never communicated and here I am. I would have been eligible to begin training next October, but since I was already ere, they put a new waiver through and i am on schedule to start class in January.

In the meantime, I have a job as the executive officer in the base contracting squadron. That means I am direct support to the commander for whatever he needs to do his job. So far that's included reviewing paperwork, developing briefings, and schedulig appointments.

The bulk of our attention, however, has been devoted to our newest family member. Romeo is a black lab puppy, and he is as cute as can be! He turns 8 weeks on Tuesday, and we will have had him 2 weeks on Wednesday. He is a true puppy and loves chewing everything, but we are so happy to have him and can't wait to show him off to all of you soon!
Be Joyful Always, Pray Continually;
Give Thanks In All Circumstances,
